Terry Wootton Roade Triathlon

Friday, 24 August, 2012 - 15:19

So then, our final event of 2012 and what a year it has been!

We couldn't have asked for a better year to help portray the British sporting talent that we have. From the spectacle that was the Olympics, to our own events, we have been continually surprised at how talented our nation really is!

If the Olympics has spurred you on to emulate the stars of London 2012, why not try our final event of the year, the Terry Wootton Roade Triathlon, a great event for beginners to professionals. You can either take on the 'Sprint' consisting of 414m pool swim, 20k Bike and finishing with a 5k run, or if you prefer, you can take on the 'taster tri', which is half the amount of the Sprint, 212m pool swim, 10k Bike and a 2.5k run.

Why not make it a family event and enter your children into the Terry Wootton Roade Kids Triathion? Three different age groups to take part in, each has a different variation of distances.

8yrs: 46m Pool Swim | 800m Bike | 400m Run

9-10yrs: 92m Pool Swim | 1.6k Bike | 800m Run

11-12yrs: 138m Pool Swim | 2.4k Bike | 1.2k  Run

13-14yrs: 184m Pool Swim | 3.2k Bike | 1.6k Run
