Taking place at Grendon Lakes, this popular sprint triathlon will take competitors on a superfast sprint triathlon course.

In 2009 the Grendon Sprint Triathlon has been chosen by British Triathlon as a World Qualifying event for the 2009 Sprint World Championships.  With only 3 qualifiers across the UK, this early event will give competitors the chance to secure early qualification. 

But don't be put off if you are not looking to qualify as all abilities are welcomed and encouraged to compete.  This inland piece of water is not exposed to currents and tides, making the 750m swim a fast one.  The bike is more of a challenge coming in at just over 20k with a flat 2 lap 5k run course to finish the event off.
