2010 is the 10th anniversary of this popular event and with entries capped at 600 you will need to enter before the closing date.
Not only is this our last event of the year, it’s also the end of many triathletes racing season and the start of others triathlon career. So what can you expect from your last race of the year?
You’ll find over 100 novice triathletes taking part in their first ever triathlon. There’ll be a great party atmosphere as we play host to many triathlon clubs club championships. You can expect some fast racing times as more and more individuals each year go under the hour.
After an unusual 414m swim, competitors head off on to the 2-lap 20k bike course with its gentle undulations through the villages of Roade and Stoke Bruerne. The race is brought to a conclusion with an out and back (twice) 4.5k run route that brings competitors back on site after the first out and back, finishing with a lap of the school field and a long run in to the focal finish area. Once finished, relax and soak up the event atmosphere.
We look forward to welcoming you to the end of our year and our 10th Roade Triathlon...
