1900m swim - 46m bike - 13m run
The Beaver is the original triathlon event at Belvoir Castle. (beware of imitations) 2012 will be its 7th year and will once again be based in the stunning grounds of the Castle itself, with all racing taking place in the Castle grounds and it's surrounding area.
The Beaver is ideally placed to give athletes the opportunity to use this event to really test themselves early on in the season. It is also ideal for anybody racing a longer distance event during the summer.
The event will take place on Saturday morning with the little beaver and the speedy beaver taking place on the Sunday morning. With each of the 3 lap bike course returning through the Castle grounds and past transition, it is ideal for supporters to really cheer on the athletes.
Although early season the shallow 1900m swim will ensure the water temperature is relatively high. After a long run to transition athletes then complete the rolling 46.5mile bike course and finish with a 3 lap, spectator friendly 13m run.
You will be thankful for and enjoy the finish line!
As always, we welcome all athletes and hope to see our usual mix of ages and abilities. All finishers will receive a great finishers memento to remember your beaver experience.
2012 entry prices: BTF Member - £94 Non BTF Member + £5 Relay Team - £120
